Shipping Policy

We do our best to provide reliable and reasonably priced shipping options while ensuring that every Groovy Moon order is carefully packaged for its journey.

Where We Ship

We ship throughout Canada and to many international destinations.

International shipping availability depends on the destination country, available carrier services, customs requirements and whether the products in your order are eligible to be shipped to that location.

Some products or destinations may be unavailable due to postal, carrier, customs or regulatory restrictions. If we are unable to ship an order to your destination, we will contact you and cancel or adjust the affected portion of the order.

Order Processing

Groovy Moon products are handcrafted in small batches. Please allow time for your order to be prepared and packaged before shipment.

Estimated delivery times shown at checkout begin after the order has been processed and transferred to the carrier. Processing and delivery estimates are not guaranteed.

You will receive a shipping confirmation when your order has been dispatched. Tracking will be provided when it is included with the shipping service selected.

Shipping Rates

Available shipping methods and rates are calculated or displayed at checkout based on the destination, package size, weight and carrier service.

We do our best to offer the most reasonable shipping options available. Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

International Duties, Taxes and Customs Fees

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage charges, customs-processing fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated at checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Groovy Moon does not control these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs authority for information before ordering.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order may legally be imported into their country or region.

Customs and Delivery Delays

International orders may be inspected or delayed by customs authorities. Customs processing times are outside our control and are not included in estimated delivery times.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, border inspections, postal disruptions, severe weather, carrier interruptions, incorrect addresses or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Please review your shipping information carefully before completing your order.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Groovy Moon is not responsible for orders delayed, lost or returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied.

If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, unpaid customs charges or failure to collect the package, the customer will be responsible for any return charges and the cost of reshipping the order.

Any store credit offered for a returned international shipment will apply only to eligible products received back in acceptable condition. Original shipping costs, customs charges and return-to-sender fees will not be included.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Packages

Please contact us at jill@groovymoon.com if your package arrives damaged or appears to have been lost in transit.

For damaged orders, please retain the product, shipping box and all packaging materials and provide photographs of the damage.

We will work with the carrier where appropriate. Carrier investigations and claims are subject to the carrier’s rules, timelines and coverage limits.

Groovy Moon is not responsible for packages that have been confirmed as delivered by the carrier but are subsequently lost or stolen from the delivery location. Please ensure that your order is delivered to a safe and secure address.

Restricted Products and Destinations

Certain liquids, fragrances, oils, sprays or other products may be restricted from air transportation or importation into particular countries.

We reserve the right to decline, cancel or modify an order when a product cannot be legally or safely shipped to the selected destination. Any applicable refund or store credit in these circumstances will be limited to the unshipped product and shipping charges collected for that product.
